SPRAY of ST. BRIAC

Originally known as Scud, Spray of St Briac was originally heavily built by George Maynard of Noank, Ct for his family to go cruising.  An article about her construction may be seen in WoodenBoat #21 April1978.  Scud completed a five year circumnavigation and was later purchased and used for daysailing passengers in Camden Maine.

An experienced offshore racing sailor, Spray of St Briac's current owner purchased her in the 1990's, outfitted her for passage making and has been cruising since to include sailing around the world twice.  An article in Cruising World about the owner and his exploits may be found on line and the owner wrote a book: Sailing Around the World ( A Family Retraces Joshua Slocum's Voyage) by Guy Bernardin.

More recently they have sailed from France to Florida, have hauled the vessel for normal maintenance and the owner reports that she is ready to go to sea.

NOVEMBER 2011 Price Reduced from $88,000.
