The Sabre 27s accommodation offers up to six berths with full standing headroom. In forecabin, V berth with stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. Full width heads compartment with marine toilet and washbasin. In saloon, dinette to starboard converting to a double berth with galley opposite. Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel sink with pressurised cold water system. 125 litre freshwater capacity. Coolbox. Two quarter berths aft.
Located abaft the companionway, Beta Marine DB722 three cylinder 20hp diesel engine (fitted new 2003). Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger, the heat exchanger has connections for the addition of H.W calorifier. Shaft drive to three bladed propeller. Single lever control. 60 litres fuel capacity in stainless steel tank giving approximately 375 mile range at 5 knot cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 6 knots. The engine has only completed some 560 hours running time since new.

This Sabre 27 was built in 1975 by Marcon to a design by Alan Hill. Blue painted GRP hull. Rubbing strake. White GRP superstructure with treadmaster non-slip to deck. Cast iron fin keel. Skeg hung rudder. Tiller steering. Aft self draining cockpit. A complete refit in 2001 included a topside respray and epoxy below the waterline. A new engine was fitted in 2003.
