Notes from Owner
The boat was built in 1975 using plans direct from Norman Cross,(which I still have). the builder used diagonally planked brunzel plywood, epoxied together with 2 layers of polyester cloth on the outside and resin on the
Notes from previous owner.
The boat was structurally sound but needed a lot of cosmetic work. I also needed to turn this into a charter boat with 5 cabins and two heads.
The boat was painted using algrip snow white color, I refinished the main mast,(it's made of sitka spruce).
The interior of the main salon is painted with alwgrip, and the outer cabins with easy poxy paint. there are all new mattresses’ in all cabins,( outer cabins in 2001,and aft cabins in 2005).
The refrigeration along with the water maker is engine driven. The refrigeration and water pump was rebuilt in 2010,(all new parts) and new membrane in 2009, the system makes about 21 to 23 gallons per hour. the fridge is a cold plate design but will freeze anything up against the plate. it will reach temps in the upper teens. I have a 12 gallon hot water heater that uses the engine to heat, it works great almost too hot if you've been running all day.
For 110 power I have a Xantrex prosine 2.0 inverter. As far as electronics, I have a Raymarine RL80C pathfinder color chart plotter. Raymarine depth sounder and a raymarine ST6001 autopilot.
A VHF… standard Horizon Eclipse DSC marine radio, a kenwood stereo system with Delphi satellite receiver with poly planar outside speakers and Bose bookshelf speakers on the inside.
A danforth compass as well as a JVC 22” DVD LCD flat screen TV . all new steering hose was installed, as well as a complete rewire with new distribution panels in 2010 .
The main and the head sails are in good condition, all sails have covers and are covered all the time when not in use.
I lived on the boat since I've owned it, so I'm on top of things immediately when they go bad, I'm constantly fixing updating or painting the boat all the time.
The boat was hauled out 2012-13. It has new alexis seal paint (awlgrip) on the 3 hulls as of this writing Dec 2013. The engine a Perkins 4-236 diesel runs excellent. Last year I did a valve job, new injectors, new injection pump and new sea water pump, and new stainless exhaust manifold and new elbow, new starter and alternator all in 2010
