The "NOVUS VITA" is a beautiful motor yacht that has received continuous outstanding care from the beginning and it shows. A very knowledgeable owner has spared no expense or effort on her mechanical maintenance and cosmetic preservation. As her name indicates, she indeed delivers a "NEW LIFE". This is a vessel that will not disappoint even the most fastidious buyer.
Once aboard this Jack Hargrave designed Hatteras motor yacht, you will immediately note that she has the look and feel of a multi-million dollar vessel but is now available at a small fraction of the cost.
While the "Novus Vita" has ventured out to sea from time to time, she is without a doubt a fresh water vessel. Whether visiting her immaculate engine rooms or admiring the rich like-new woodwork above and below decks, one can easily discern the loving care she has received.
Before purchasing any other motor yacht you should probably make an effort to come experience the "NOVUS VITA". You will not regret it.
The yacht's owner is reluctantly downsizing and will consider appropriate partial trade-ins.

Salon and Pilot House
Upon entering the salon through either the port or starboard door one quickly notices the wide, comfortable and well decorated salon. The forward section of the salon contains the pilot house/lower helm, which allows the captain, crew and guests to enjoy each others company when underway or moored in a favorite spot. The recent interior redecoration becomes quite evident with newly reupholstered valences giving way to richly refinished wood trim throughout. You won't want to change a thing. At the aft end of the salon double etched glass and wooden doors open to the delightful and tastefully furnished sun deck
A few spiral steps down from the starboard side of the pilot house lead to the galley and on to the cabins and engine rooms. The galley's proximity to the salon and pilot house insure an efficient flow of snacks and goodies to all aboard. There is no limit to the preparation of either quick bites or gourmet dinners, since this galley is fully equipped to meet all needs. The full sized side-by-side refrigerator, large convection microwave oven, four burner stove top augmented by a great deal of storage is a chef's delight.
Staterooms and heads
While the salon and pilot house provide ample space and ambiance for group activities, the lower deck is designed to supply the privacy and serenity one needs at the end of the day. Each stateroom is provided a private head and the two aft heads enjoy the services of an Electrosan marine waste disposal system. Hot showers for everyone is assured by the new 20 gallon water heater. The master cabin is the captain's suite. The oversized berth is surrounded with both hanging and drawer storage. This very large stateroom appears even bigger thanks to the fully mirrored aft bulkhead.
This broker was reluctant to tear himself away from these roomy and immaculate engine rooms. The headroom and elbow room are more than enough to accomodate my 6'2" height and 250 pound body. Every service point is easily accessible. Moving over and around these big white diesels left not one little mark on my clean khakis. Those 8V71's really shine! It is hard to believe that they have clocked almost 2000 hours since major overhaul. New reduced fuel consumption injectors have been installed yielding considerable savings in operating costs. Further reduction of fuel consumption and a significant increase in engine life and performance has been achieved through the recent addition of costly but effective Walker Engineering Airseps. These investments in economy are already yielding positive results. During a recent extended cruise on the Tennessee river the Novus Vita delivered 1.2 miles per gallon of consumption at a leisurely pace of 9 knots.
On the bulkhead forward of the port engine a maintenance log easily shows what has and/or needs to be done. The four AC units are easily serviced on very accessible chest high platforms. While there is a water maker in the starboard engine room, it has not been used for years (only usable in saltwater) and might need a bit of servicing before it can be returned to service.
