"Wallaby" is owned by a seafaring sailor who has spent many hours on upgrades over the years. The C&C name sets her apart from other 30' vessels. Her mast is deck stepped with a tabernacle that allows for easy lowering under bridges as well as saving time for bridge openings. A combination of steel lower sidestays as well as rod rigging uppers make for a "super strong" rig. The 155% genoa give all the power necessary to drive "Wallaby" at hull speed. Freshly refinished topsides and a bright and airy interior with new cushions add to this vessels cabin appeal. A two burner alcohol stove and a porta pottie are also included. A husky Bruce anchor with plenty of chain & rode will keep "Wallaby" safe while at anchor. Full cockpit cushions and the destroyer steering wheel make the cockpit area comfortable. When shade is needed at the dock, an easy to install "sunbrella" cover cools the cockpit. Repowered with a three cyclinder 30hp Perkins diesel provides plenty of power to get home when the winds die. The 4' 11 draft of "Wallaby" allows for sailing in Florida's skinny waters. Instruments include a VHF radio, Garmin 492C GPS, a lighted compass, depthfinder and a very capable CPT autopilot. Husky 2-speed Barient primary winches tame the large headsail and this boat can easily be sailed single handed. | ||
