This is indeed a cruising yacht for extended stays, entertaining or a true live-aboard and fully equipped for all three ventures. It is a very sturdy, well built yacht and over 350 of these were built in two(2)decades. It is by distinction an industry classic, very popular, her accommodations and comfortable ride were seldom equalled by the cruisers of her era. She has a bi-level three stateroom, three head floorplan and is considered ideal in a motoryacht of this size. She has split engine rooms separated by walk-in doors. Resale values for a clean, well equipped Hatteras remain strong in the world market place. It has pair of 8V71TI Detroit Diesel engines and the engines have less than 400 hours since rebuilt (spent 20K) and a gen set with a new electrial end and rebuilt motor. Engines are 435 Hp models, fuel is 550 and water cap is 245 gal. The master stateroom has an in-line queen size bed, adjoining full sized head and plenty of surrounding storage for a true live-aboard. It has a make up table and all surrounding tastefully decorated thorough out the entire vessel and staterooms. It has a walkin hanging locker in the forward bulkhead of the master. All three (3) heads have been updated with Atlantes heads,(low powered, very reliable, very quiet and low water consumption), there are new fixtures, teak cabinets and solid surface countertops. The galley has been extensively updated with wood flooring, updated cabinetry, 110 v double door refrig., new dishwasher, new countertops, new sink and fixtures, new headliner. The dinette seats at least 4+ people. The salon is on the deck level with pilot house. It has a large leather sofa and matching leather barrel chairs to port and entertainment center, Pergo wood flooring, new blinds and headliner. Electrically, the 15KW Kohler with sound shield is ample for the vessel requirements. She has updated Cruise Air units with digital controls. Much of the 32 V. lighting system has been upgraded to 110v. with new fixtures. The hot water heater has been replaced, fresh water supply system has been upgraded to 110v shallow well system. The aft deck has 110 v refrig and full wet bar. The passaway from the aft deck forward and wide walkways offer easy travel fore and aft inside or out. It has a custom built full enclosure that keeps the weather out and allows for plenty of fresh air, fully furnished for great entertaining. The bridge has access from the aft deck via a ladder to starboard with a solid hatch overhead. The bridge is great for entertaining is double the aft deck space. The some of the electronics include Raytheon R21XX Radar with open array, new Ray Marine ST60T dual stations, VHF Radios, Hailer on the bridge and separate AM/FM/CD system for the bridge. It come with a stackable washer and dryer system, large screen TV and customer radar arch. It has a beam of 15'10", therefore very comfortable and stable underway. This is a very tastefully decorated and excellently designed vessel, proud to wear the Hatteras engineering and name. The owner has moved to Florida and will entertain any reasonable offer. | ||
