Formosa Yankee Clipper

The Yankee Clipper Ketch was built to Lloyd's high standards and is a proven blue water cruising boat with excellent live-aboard features. This vessel has been extremely well maintained by a meticulous owner and upgraded over the 26 years he has owned her. In '07 new main sail, Sunbrella dodger with enclosures, solar panels, BBB anchor chain and more. The galley has a Force 10 stove, customized flip-up teak tabletop for extra counter space, cover for toaster/oven and shelves for pots and pans. In March of '05 a new Blue Sea System electrical panel was installed, wiring, breakers and shore AC/Inverter. Upholstery is new as well as canvas covers to protect the beautiful varnish. In December 2010 bowsprit was removed and restored, Sampson posts were removed and reinforced with new SS 1/4 inch backing plates; new bobstay and hull attachment plate, 3/8 SS plating fastened with titanium bolts.

Last hauled in November of 2010, the bottom primed and painted, no blisters or evidence of. She has just received fresh interior paint and her exterior newly varnished. Cabin house just L.P. painted in March 2011, topsides L.P. sprayed in 2009.
