“TRUANT” is a 1973 32’ Downeast yacht with a well deserved reputation and enthusiastic following. Designed and built to work the waters off Martha's Vineyard. Wasque (Way-squee) was named after the southeastern tip of Chappaquiddick known as Wasque point.
A group of yachtsmen from the Vineyard started building the boats in the early 1970's under Vineyard Yachts. TRUANT is a very versatile boat suited for a variety of pursuits from light cruising to striper fishing.
Interior arrangement features a practical galley, enclosed head, and forward V-berth suitable for two adults.
TRUANT is the perfect boat for a couple looking for a classic displacement pocket cruiser. She is in need of some TLC, routine maintenance and exterior paint and varnish. At the current asking price she is well worth the investment to bring this classic back to proper yacht condition.
