Sparkman & Stephens 42

Awater - Built by one of the most famous and best yards in the world Royal Huisman Shipyard and designed by one of the best designing team Sparkman & Stephens this beautiful S&S Huisman 42. Together they designed and built this unique yacht in 1973. Hull and deck refitted in 2006 and interior in good condition. A unique opportunity to buy this timeless classic quality yacht.

Originally built as an Admiral’s Cup yacht for Mr T.C. Chadwick from England who named her ‘Green Highlander II’.

In 1978 she was sold to an American owner who owned the yacht untill 1996. During the these years she was also sailed by the New York University Privateers, connected to the prestigious New York Yacht Club.

In 1996 she was sold to the American Paul Callahan who sailed in the Boston area.

In 2004 the boat was sold to the present owner who shipped her to Europe.

In 2005 she underwent a refit including hull and deck overhaul.

Now for sale as owner has little time to sail.
