Solid fiberglass hull built by the Jarvis Newman Company in Southwest Harbor, Maine, with a minimum of 10 layers of matt and roving, plus reinforcing--all by hand. Basil Day of Thomaston, Maine, completed her. Her aft cockpit is 11' x 9' with a 12" aft deck. Her enclosed salon is 10' x 8'. The platform is fiberglassed and self-bailing. Her decks and cabinand shelter tops are also glassed over marine plywood. Rails and guardrails are painted teak. Her topsides are original white gel coat in good condition.
Original 3160 V8 Cat. diesel, rebuilt in 2000 by Caterpillar. 2:1 TD gear, 1 1/2" SS shaft swinging a 4-blade prop. FW cooled, heat exchanger, wet stern exhaust. 3650 hours since rebuild.

Next aft are two benches (berths), port and starboard with dining table between. Full galley to stb. with SS sink w/hand pump, alcohol Rostand SS stove, and Norcold refrigerator. Many lockers and cabinets for storage. The entire cabin is refinished with a varnished teak and holly sole, teak dining table, and painted cabin sides and bulkheads. The 6 opening ports provide good ventilation in this well-designed cabin. Up 3 steps to salon. To port is bench seat that makes into a double berth. The helm is to starboard. Cabin and enclosed shelter are painted white with varnished teak trim. Both cabin and salon have heaters. Up SS ladder to fly bridge with full controls and seating for three.
