Hinckley Ketch

Indigo is the 9th hull of the 24 built at the Maine yard of Hinckley Yachts in the 70’s. Originally designed by Henry Hinckley to be his own comfortable go-anywhere cruiser, these boats are strong and fast long distance blue water cruisers. With low aspect sails for easy handling, a mast height of 58’ (which allows for Intracoastal waterway navigation) and large fuel and water tanks, Indigo is fully equipped for her next adventure. She loves a good wind, and under just ‘jib & jigger’ (genoa and mizzen) she eats up the miles and is a joy to sail. 

Indigo has been well maintained throughout her life. With clean bilges and pristine accommodation she shows like a near new boat. She has the most practical layout, with pullout couches/sea berths on both sides of the salon, and a proper nav station with full size chart table and aft facing bench seat.
