This is a vintage pacific catamaran with a surprisingly contemporary look and in fine shape. She's a bit of a mystery too. Some of her features remind me of Wharram. Som of her styling seem to have been influenced by Choy. Her true origins are lost in Pacific mist - her designer unknown. But the design has proven out across many sea miles. She was launched in the 1973 and made her way from Los Angeles throughout Mexico then North to Alaska before ending up in Port Townsend. Here she found a new owner and was given a complete loving restoration between 2006-2010. She is completely and charmingly custom. Simple systems. Practical spaces. The type of cat where you can sail or motor in cold, wet weather, while sitting at the inside helm next to a heater, reading the charts, drinking tea. Of course she also has a cockpit helm for those cloudless days. Each of her hulls is an independent cabin with a bridgedeck berth forward and a surprisingly large airy head aft (starboard composting/port marine). Her galley is up in the salon along with her navigation station and inside-steering. Her draft is ultra-shallow and she is built to beach with ease. This is a unique fun catamaran.
