This Colvic is a rugged motor cruiser with good accommodation and a 35hp inboard diesel engine. The present owner is selling due to ill health.
Her hull is GRP, a simulated clinker finish. She was built in 1973 and shows that the builder was either a professional boat builder or a very gifted amateur. She has stood the test of time well. The original engine has been replaced by a modern Vetus 35hp diesel which is easily accessed in the wheelhouse. A Vetus exhaust alarm is fitted to the engine exhaust. There is a 12 volt Whale automatic bilge pump and a 12 volt bilge alarm under main cabin floor.
The fully enclosed wheelhouse has comfortable seating and offers good visibility and shelter from the elements. There is a new zipped hood covering the whole cockpit. The cockpit is deep and the present owner has installed varnished wooden steps to take one from the deck into the cockpit.
Some original instruments are shown on the photographs, such as Furuno radar, but are not working. See the list of instruments below for confirmation of what is included in working order.
The saloon is light and has 6 ft headroom. It is carpeted. The galley is to port and opposite is seating with a good sized table. The accommodation comprises a total of four berths in two cabins. There are two single berths in the comfortable fore cabin, and a double berth is created by converting the saloon table .
There is a separate heads compartment with a Jabasco sea toilet and wash basin.
Hot water is provided by a calorifier. The accommodation has smoke alarms and carbon dioxide alarms and 2 kg powder fire extinguishers in each cabin, wheel house and cockpit.
Included in the sale is a two burner stove with grill - new and unused, yet to be installed. Also provided and ready to be installed is a marine gas regulator, a gas leak detector and flexible pipe that meets current regulations.
There is a sink with hot and cold water and a large draining board. There is a Mobicool fridge/coolbox.
