WHISTLER is a handsome 38' Carroll Lowell Downeast Flybridge Cruiser built in 1973. She is a sistership to Sea Scribe, built for the publisher of The Nautical Quarterly, Donald McGraw.WHISTLER is one of two that he built of this design. WHISTLER exudes “class” as Carroll Lowell was the master designer of fine lines, and an exceptional wooden boat builder. As mentioned above, WHISTLER has been completely upgraded with new tanks, new wiring, new fastenings and plumbing, new electronics and an electric windlass, and a complete refinishing inside and out.
