This 1972 Super Van Craft 12.90 is 45 feet long overall with two diesel DAF 575 engines (120bhp) keel-cooled each with about 2600 engine hours.  Since the full survey in 2013 (that report and the ultrasonic report are available) all recommendations have been carried out plus many improvements, both external and internal.

This Super Van Craft is a well-maintained high quality ship ready for immediate cruising or live aboard.

Two single berths in the bow.  Twin master in the stern.  Dinette opposite galley with recent fridge/freezer and hob.  240V ring main.  Solar panels. All new carpet and curtains throughout in 2016.  Electric toilet, pressurised hot and cold water systems, Eberspacher heating throughout.  Eberspacher hot-water system.  Calorifier. Martin has many years of marine experience having learnt to sail in a Wayfarer on the Solent. Then followed an Enterprise dinghy, racing on Oxford’s Farmoor reservoir and sailing in the harbours of Chichester, Christchurch and also the River Rock at Padstow. Day Skipper (Sail) was gained on a Moody 36 out of Chichester to Alderney, Jersey and Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. Day Skipper (Power) was gained on a Trader 44 out of Kingswear /Dartmouth. A share in a Van der Stadt design yacht on the River Hamble led to several Fairey powerboats including competing in an anniversary Cowes-Torquay event. One of those Fairey boats was a wooden Cowes-Torquay racer that Martin comprehensively renovated. Professionally, he started with high-technology engineering before writing computer programmes so evolving into the information technology sector.
