Nautor Swan 48

The "WITCH OF PUNGO" is SWAN 48-013 and was built in 1972. Since that time, she has had only two Owners! The SWAN 48, designed by Sparkman & Stephens, was a resounding production success for NAUTOR in their formative years with a total of 46 being produced from 1971 through 1975.

This classic S&S design has been well-invested in by her two Owners since "Day One". The "WITCH OF PUNGO" had her decks & power redone in the mid-to-late 1990's along with the AWLGRIP for her topsides and fiberglass deck & cockpit areas. From 2001 through 2004, she has been the beneficiary of a major refit process. A short list includes all new standing & running rigging, HARKEN roller-furling, a NEXT GENERATION genset, new NORTH sails, a B&G Hydra 2000 system, LEWMAR electric primaries, electronics upgrades "and much more". The "minor refit" details of an older quality yacht always continue, of course .. but a SWAN always rewards the diligent Owner as most sailors know!

After cruising in Northern Europe for several Seasons, the "WITCH OF PUNGO" has returned "home" to be sold. Her Owner will be shifting down to, in all likelihood, a smaller SWAN. Given the good attention to the "WITCH's" overall care & equippage over years, the knowledgeable sailor will feel right at home aboard her. Inspections and offers are both encouraged for this classic SWAN 48.
