The Finnsailer 35 is a very high quality and highly regarded sea going vessel of Finnish boat building mastery. The Finnsailer is delivered new with LLOYD'S CERTIFICATION. She has a solid hull constructed of hand laid fiberglass. This vessel is built to strict standards of LLOYD's REGISTER OF SHIPPING under the scrutiny and approval of a full-time LLOYD'S inspector. The vessels rugged double-ended design and construction is based on a commercial design used for North Sea Coast Guard rescue cutters and pilot boats. Her engine is a 72 HP Perkins fresh water cooled marine diesel with a Borg-Warner reverce reduction transmission. The engine is located under the cockpit sole, which provides complete easy access to machinery. The propeller freewheels while under sail. The interior is impressively finnished with rich mahogany wood throughout. The saloon is large (10' wide X 9.5' long), with 6'4" standing room throughout the interior. The saloon is brightly illuminated with four large windows. There is extensive storage throughout. She has a spacious self-draining cockpit which will comfortably seat up to 8. A pedestal supports an aft steering wheel and a detachable mahogany cockpit table. The pilothouse provides a comfortable protected position for steering in unfavorable weather conditions. It has large safety glass windows for maximum visibility. There is a pilothouse hatch that can be raised for standing for high-angle, 360 vision while cruising or close quarter manuevering. She cruises comfortably at an easy 7.5 knots. The mainsail and foresail totals 373 sq. ft. Mast and boom are annodized aluminum. Halyards are internal to the mast. Mast is stepped on deck with a hinged foot permitting it to be easily lowered. This vessel is a perfect pocket cruiser capable of handling any conditions encountered in Northwest cruising waters.
