This Dufour was originally Italian owned and sailed across the Atlantic in the 80’s where she did a few seasons in the BVI’s as a charter boat. Slightly damaged in a hurricane in Antigua, she was diligently repaired and under her new name “Windfall” was raced regularly at Antigua Sailing Week. She was purchased by a new owner who was a committed sailor in 2009 and brought to Grenada for an extensive refit. In 2010 a new Volvo Penta was installed along with a new Force 10 cooker; most of the running rgging was replaced and much of the boat was rewired. In 2011 a new Lofrans anchor windlass was installed, all sea cocks and valves replaced, all port lights were removed and rebidded, new navigational lights and some internal lights were replaced. Due to a vocational change, the owner sold here to the current owners in 2013. Since that time Windfall has been enjoyed and cruised extensively throughout the Caribbean while her owners continued to upgrade her. Due to yet another change in the owners circumstances, she is back on the market ready for her next adventure.
