Quester III is a magnificent, award winning example of renowned architect William Garden's Wanderer design, featured in his 'Yacht Designs II' portfolio published by the Mystic Seaport Museum. Always shed kept with meticulous, obsessive attention to detail, she is fully equipped and ready to depart immediately on an extended cruise.
Built in Victoria BC by Bill Trenholme, who went on to build the stunning 58' Garden 'Sayonara', of 'Concave and Crown' milled strip planking, edge fastened with bronze ringtails . Yellow cedar bottom and red cedar topside planks are bronze ringtail fastened to preservative treated steam bent oak frames. With a heavy fir keel and stem, her exterior exhibits a level of fairness and gloss that surpasses many moulded fibreglass yachts. The hull planks are not only fastened to her frames, they are each secured vertically to their adjacent plank greatly increasing strength, fairness and resistance to flexing. Perfect for our west coast conditions...
Consistently the most admired, eye catching yacht wherever she travels, Quester III is ready to embark upon new adventures under fresh stewardship. There are extensive photographs attached to this listing, we invite you to inspect them closely- they truly speak for themselves.
