Euphoria (ex. Diana) was built by the Jarvis Newman Yard of Southwest Harbor and finished by Jim Rockefeller of Bald Mountain Boat Works in Camden. Her original owner sailed her 35 years in Penobscot Bay, and she was known as the Friendship with the tan bark sails. Her second and current owner has made many upgrades-namely, adding electric wiring for navigation and cabin lights, new sails, and general upgrades in equipment and hull and deck maintenance. She is a beautiful replica of the Friendship named Pemaquid built in 1914; however, she sports many modern conveniences for today's sailor. Euphoria is ready to launch and sail for the 2016 season for the sailor looking for classic beauty and performance.

Solid fiberglass hull built by hand by the Jarvis Newman Boatyard in Southwest Harbor, Maine. The hull was then completed by Jim Rockefeller of Bald Mountain Boatworks in Camden, Maine. Her decks are Douglas fir over oak beams. Cabintop and sides are laminated layers covered with fiberglass and painted. Varnished mahogany toe and cap rails, helm seat, and companionway ensemble. Custom bronze hardware. Deck and cockpit scuppers piped overboard. 2000 lead keel with bronze bolts. Fiberglass rudder w/bronze post, packing gland, and heel fitting. Her large cockpit seats six comfortable.
Beta Marine BD 722 3-cyl. diesel, Serial #736007. FWC w/heat exchanger. 2:1 Hurth gear. 1" SS shaft swinging 14"x8"x3-blade RH prop. Edson steering, Morse controls. Engine removed and new mounts installed, cutlass bearing & stuffing box replaced, 2007. Good access through large cockpit hatch.
Two 12v batteries with Master Switch. Circuit breaker panel. 2007 full wiring of vessel to accommodate Nav. lights, cabin lights, instrumentation.

Sails and Rigging
Sails: 450 sf of Main, roller-furling jib, and staysail by Nat Wilson of Boothbay using No. 7 Oceanus cream-colored cloth. Her set of tanbark sails is also included.
Spars: Mast, boom, gaff, and bowsprit are varnished Sitka spruce.
SS Standing Rigging using deadeyes and bowsprit and bobstays. Dacron running rigging.
Down below in the cabin, behind the rope locker are two vee berths with storage beneath. Next aft to port is the galley with SS sink w/cold water, 2-burner alcohol stove, Formica counter, and shelving and lockers for storage. To starboard aft of the vee berth is cabinet with drawers, manual Wilcox Critten marine head w/Y valve, and quarter berth. Green cushions for berths and cockpit seating. A functional and light cabin.
