This is one fine looking boat!  And she has been lovingly restored to excellent condition throughout.

She's in the water now and ready to go.  There are some fresh photos (all others taken last fall) of her just before her launch this year.

Clifford Alley's lobster boats are renowned for their quality construction, perfect lines and great handling.   This one has been fully restored into a beautiful pleasure boat and is truly turn key.  There is a lot of room below for v-berths and a head if one desired.  She is nicely finished throughout with Dynel covered decks and cabin top and brightly finishd, laminanted mahagony deck beams in the wheel house and cabin area.  Bronze and monel fastened. The winter back is fully detachable.  Brand new Garmin GPS/Plotter and a top quality Furuno radar and color sounder.

If you want a classic Maine-built boat that will turn heads in any port this is for you!

From the owner:

“The boat was built in 1971 by Cliff Alley.
I purchased her in 2005 and spend a number of years re-building. When ever possible I used a professional wooden boat guy (Nathan Greeley Boats) so this is defineatly not a hack job. The boat went back in the water in 2009.
We went all through the hull, replaced a number of floor timbers, frames, some planking, many new fasteners. New side decks, work deck, new house / cabin....
The 120 hp Barr Marine Diesel (Ford Lehman) has undergone a "top end" rebuild. (the mechanic thought it had low original hours) I understand the marine gear is a Velvet drive, not sure of the exact ratio, probably the 1.9 to 1 It was re-built a couple years ago. About 50 hours on Engine / Marine Gear since re-build.
Note I had a full survey done prior to re-launch, the report available on request.
This boat wast featured in Virgina Thorndike's book Maine Lobsterboats, in the Epilogue. So there is a lot of good history there.”
