Trintella IV

Built in 1970 and launched in 1971, she is GRP with an additional hard epoxy coating below the water line. She was build by Tyler’s of Tunbridge Wells UK. She has a solid long keel and ballast is lead shot moulded into the keel.2 Fuel tanks (130 gallons & 90 gallons )and a 100 gallon waste tank are also moulded into the hull. The fwd teak decking was lifted and relayed in 2004. She has a fully enclosed wheelhouse that was added by the first of her three owners. All control lines except the main sail come back to the wheel house. The interior is mainly teak. All headlining were replaced in 2003 and all foam seating replaced at the same time.99% of All high gloss varnish has been stripped and the wood oiled with teak oil. Both heads were refitted in 2001. The boat has 3 cabins and a total of 8 berths available. The boat has been wintered ashore since 2004. Her last antifouling was May 2009.
