For this classic S&S designed yacht to have been built by the Walsted yard in 1969 was fortune indeed as their craftsmen were reckoned supreme in wooden yacht construction in those days. From this impressive lineage PUFFIN had a very successful start to racing in her first season in US waters. A development from the highly successful Italian S&S design MABELLE, while beamy amidships, the hull is lively and she steers well on all points of sail.
