surface: All original surfaces above the waterline were sandblasted and surface treated in 2007 at Assen Shipyard. A Sigma three-layer system consisting of Zinc Primer, Sigmazinc, was used as the first layer, Epoxy bases, Sigmacover 280, as intermediate layer and a two-component paint, Sigmadur 520, to finish. All new surfaces are made up of pre-treated plates, which are subsequently treated with Sigmacover 280 epoxy as primer and finished with Sigmadur 520
