This vessel is reported to have been built by Hartwell Boat Builders in Plymouth, England in 1969. The original manufacturer's hull number is 85. Indecision was substantially rebuilt in 2003 from the shell up to high quality standard of materials and workmanship. The hull, decks, and superstructure are built of 1/2" mahogany marine plywood covered with fiberglass and epoxy. All frames are sawn mahogany or oak with galvanized steel and bronze fastenings. The keel is external ballast cast iron. There is a fixed windshield "dodger" forward of the cockpit.
The hard chined hull design with heavy keel for its size makes Indecision very stable. The aluminum mast is deck stepped and supported by stainless wire rigging.
