The “Kimberly Ann” was rescued from neglect in September 2003. She had been on the hard for seven years only slightly covered. Prior to this, she was docked on the Genesse River IN Rochester, NY where she had spent all her life since delivery. She was once the Queen of the fleet on the Genesee. At that time she was known as “Rue Joe” named after her first owners. She was purchased in 1993 and renamed the “Mint Julep” by her owner who was from Baton Rouge, LA. She was documented as such and began her steady decline until that fateful day in September 2003, when she was purchased by Alan and Kimberly Ann Langlois. The restoration began at Shumway Marine in Rochester, NY. She was stripped down for relocation to Harbour Place Marine in Buffalo, NY an original Chris Craft dealer from the early 1940’s through the 1980’s. She spent 3.5 years there being completely pampered and restored to her current condition. She arrived at the Mentor Harbour Yachting Club in the summer of 2007, which she calls home to this day.
