Le Manguier is a former tugboat built in 1968 for the French Navy. In 2002, the boat was bought from the Navy by the actual owner, Philippe HERCHER, and used for chartering in the Mediterranean Sea.

In 2009, le Manguier sailed from Corsica (Mediterranean Sea) to Alaska through the Arctic Sea. Even if le Manguier is not registered as an ice class vessel, he got the authorization from the Atomflot in Murmansk to go through the north of Siberia, due to her quality of construction, strength and liability.

Le Manguier enters in the History of the Arctic Sea, becoming in October 2009 the 4th foreign boat to succeed in the North East Passage in one season and without the assistance of an icebreaker.

Le Manguier has been redesigned to be able to accommodate a team of

6/8 people using the boat as a base camp. TV teams, wreck divers, whale or birds watchers, alpinists etc...

This is an excelent opportunity to pick up a world class vessel that is in Alaska and is ready to cruise!!!
