The custom center console, captains bench and rear bench (both with storage cabinets underneath) have 7 layers of skipper varnish on the woodwork.

Yes I built all the woodwork from scratch planed down 180 board feet of mahogany to make it all. It is all made out of solid three-quarter inch mahogany there's no plywood at all. The original and the restoration kits you can get are all made of plywood. It's got seven coats of skipper varnish on it.
