RELIANCE has had just three proud owners. She was orginally built for George Hinman, then Commodore of the New York Yacht Club and then purchased by her second owners in the early seventies. For many years she has been stored at one of New England's most knowledgeable "wood boat yards". At that owners' request, she was periodically inspected and surveyed by both G.W. "Giffy" Full and Paul Haley of G.W. Full Associates, the East Coast's most knowledgeable wood boat surveyors. This was done in order to advise him of any work that was warranted. As a result, she is the finest wood GB 42 we have seen, and she comes highly recommended.
