Classic Downeast trawler built by Rumery's Boat Yard in Biddeford, Maine. Designed by Eldridge-McInnes a highly regarded naval architect firm known for their rugged offshore cruisers. Jenny's entire propulsion system (engine, transmission, drive shaft, shaft seal, cutlass bearing and prop) were replaced in 2007. In addition an "Aqua Drive" system was added, the shaft packing was replaced with a dripless seal and cutter blades were added to the shaft. Jenny is a heavily built, highly functional, safe, comfortable trawler for two. She does not have a lot of fancy "bells & whistles", just serious cruising gear. Great LOOP veteran.
