My Mistress II was built by Hill Boatyard in Seal Beach, California. It is a Monk designed custom built motor yacht of wood construction throughout with a raked stem, hard chines to a full length keel and transom stern with a large steel rudder.
Meticulously maintained by its current owner, and boat house kept, the vessel is plenty spacious to serve as a capable, stable live aboard or comfortable long range cruiser. She has been completely re-wired throughout and all systems in good operational condition. She is powered by a single Detroit marine diesel with Borg Warner transmission capable of producing 197hp @ 2,800 rpm with 700 gallon fuel capacity for long range cruising. Fuel consumption is approximately 4 gallons @ 2000 rpm for a 7.5 knot cruising speed.
She features a new premium quality Bimini cover with extra zippers recently purchased at a cost of $15,000, all windows have been replaced ($15,000), built in vac system with canister, and new paint and Awl-grip applied. All chain rode with 2 anchor types located on the bow pulpit, and remote controlled spotlight.
She offers a large aft owner's stateroom (6'2" height at centre line) comprised of enclosed head compartment with stand up shower, twin berth (enough space for a pedestal queen berth) with easy access to the rear cockpit, and hanging/ storage locker and cabinetry. The V-Berth forward also has an enclosed head compartment, storage/hanging locker, plenty of drawer storage and cabinetry, 400' chain rode locker in the fore peak, and storage locker to starboard.
The expansive main salon (6'8" height at centerline) offers port and starboard hung sliding doors for quick access to the side decks, auto power helm steering, easy access to engine compartment, full galley, drop down chart table from the ceiling, Venetian blinds and LED lighting throughout the vessel. Very sturdy SS railing with thru bolted stanchions and telescoping swim ladder mounted on swim grid.
This very seaworthy yacht, and luxurious live aboard is in exceptional condition for her age and is priced to sell. All equipment is in good operating condition. The vessel was last surveyed on May 2015 and is available upon request. I have the complete ownership history on this vessel which has been well cared for by all her owners.
Last bottom painted with new zincs on August 21, 2017.
You will not find a better wood planking tri cabin trawler on the West Coast.
