My Mistress II was built by Hill Boatyard in Seal Beach, California. It is a Monk designed custom built motor yacht of wood construction throughout with a raked stem, hard chines to a full length keel and transom stern with a large steel rudder making it easy to maneuver.
Meticulously maintained by its current owner, and boat house kept, the vessel is plenty spacious to serve as a capable, stable live aboard or comfortable long range cruiser. She is powered by a single Detroit marine diesel with Borg Warner transmission capable of producing 197hp @ 2,800 rpm with 700 gallon fuel capacity for long range cruising. Fuel consumption is approximately 4 gallons @ 2000 rpm for a 7.5 knot cruising speed.
She features a new premium quality Bimini cover with extra zippers recently purchased at a cost of $15,000, all windows have been replaced ($15,000), built in vac system with canister, and new paint and awlgrip applied.
She offers a large aft owner's stateroom (6'2" height at centreline) comprised of enclosed head compartment with stand up shower, double berth (enough space for a king) with easy access to the rear cockpit, and hanging/ storage locker and cabinetry. The V-Berth forward also has an enclosed head compartment, cabinetry, 400' chain rode locker in the fore peak, and storage locker to starboard.
The expansive main salon (6'8" height at centreline) offers port and starboard hung sliding doors for quick access to the side decks, auto power helm steering, easy access to engine compartment, full galley, drop down chart table from the ceiling, Venetian blinds and LED lighting throughout the vessel.
This very sea worthy yacht, and luxurious live aboard is in exceptional condition for her age and is priced to sell. All equipment is in good operating condition. The vessel was last surveyed on March 8, 2015 and is available upon request. I have the complete ownership history on this vessel which has been well cared for by all her owners. Call now to arrange a viewing, you won't be disappointed.
