Owners Comments When I bought the boat in 1989, the first thing that I had done, was to have the hull sandblasted below the waterline, removing all the old bottom paint and brought it back down to the original gel coat. I then put 5 coats of VC17 tar epoxy water barrier on her. The boat has been a fresh water boat for over 30 yrs, she has only been in the salt water for 13 yrs./ The Atomic 4 was rebuilt about 12 yrs ago, and has under 200 hrs on her.
