"Tiama" is a William Garden designed custom gaff-rigged schooner originally built in 1965 by George Calkins as a working fishing vessel. She was completely refit and repowered in 1985-88 by Schooner Creek Boat Works in Oregon and subsequently restored to a supremely high standard since her purchase in 2002 by the current owner. Worthy of the most discriminating connoisseur, she is sophisticated, luxurious and totally unique. Exotic and beautiful woods throughout. Glass panels etched with depictions of ocean life. She has a hot tub, a skylight with butterfly hatch and solid fuel fireplace. Everything about her is stunningly beautiful and elegant. "Tiama" is documented recreationally and coastwise and insured by Lloyds of London. She is ready to cruise, as a charter vessel or personal luxury yacht.
