The "Grand Lady" is a 65ft Flush Deck Motor Yacht built in 1965 by Stephens Boat Work of Stockton California.
She was commissioned and built for Jack Wrather who was the producer of Lassie and the Lone Ranger. The boat was christened "Lone Ranger III" and is hull number M115. Complete records regarding building of the boat, including all drawings, changes and correspondence, are located at the Haggin Museum in Stockton, California as part of the Stephens Boat Works Exhibit. She is mahogany throughout. Since Jack Wrather was part of President Reagan's "Kitchen Cabinet", it is quite possible that Mr. Reagan frequented the boat. The now owner has a lot more history and stories for an interested buyer. Come and preview this piece of American history!
This Stephens Motor Yacht has the four stateroom layout. The master stateroom is aft and features a center queen size bed, two dressers, two cedar lined hanging lockers, plus extra drawer storage and an ensuite head; large vanity and full size walk in shower stall. The aft bulkhead is mirrored, bulkheads have a conservative vinyl wall covering large framed mirrors, trim is varnished mahogany and it has new carpet.
Forward port is the second stateroom with over/under bunks that can be converted into a bench seat area, dresser and hanging locker. Immediately forward to port side is a third stateroom with twins, a dresser, extra drawer storage and new carpet. The second and third staterooms are separated by a folding wall which can be opened to make an extra large stateroom. The second head is across the hall complete with large vanity and full sized walk in shower stall.
Lower salon has new Berber carpet, mahogany covered bulkheads accented with a large wall mirror on the aft wall, custom made full sized sofa and overstuffed chair and ottoman, two side tables with lamps, two custom cane side chairs, three stacking tables, a drop leaf dining table, four wood folding chairs hidden in the pedestal, full mini blinds. Forward three steps and down to updated galley. To port, you will find a lot of nice storage, double sink, new two burner cook top and convection microwave. To starboard, is a built in dinette area and seating for four, full size freezer/refrigerator new in 2008. The galley has a full size pantry. Forward of the galley another stateroom with two bunks, dresser, hanging locker and a newly refurbished helm. Behind the helm is a custom built mahogany wet bar with sink, mini refrigerator, U-Line ice maker, a lot of storage. Upper salon has tinted windows and carpet, custom made white wicker furniture with overstuffed cushions and two full size couches. The galley and helm have new Alpine sound system, Raymarine radar computerized navigation and Raymarine radio.
