Concordia Yawl # 96 WHIMBREL

WHIMBREL is an exceptional bright hulled Concordia 41' yawl.  She is hull # 96 out of 103 with construction being completed in 1964.  As such, she is one of the "newer" Concordia yawls built and the "youngest" currently on the market.  The boat has seen regular but light seasonal use and is being offered for sale- somewhat reluctantly- by her third owner who has enjoyed the boat since 1975.  She has received excellent maintenance and care and upgrading primarily from Seal Cove Boatyard where she has been stored for many years.

Original Abeking and Rasmussen teak decks are in very good condition.  Her interior features a custom table with room for six; unique among most Concordias.  The walkthru head with hanging lockers and built in drawers is exceptional as is the forward cabin with additional custom pipe berths port and starboard above the standard pipe berths (handy for storage, too).   

Recently inspected by Concordia in December of 2010 and again in January 2011, WHIMBREL is stored indoors and shows exceptionally well with fresh varnish and paint work evident.

Any serious Concordia 41 prospect will surely need to inspect WHIMBREL as part of proper due diligence in the process to acquire one of these iconic yachts.
