HUSSAR is a great example of a classic Aage Nielsen design. She is a versatile and lovely cruiser that has carried it's current family from NY to Nova Scotia, over 20,000 miles.

Mahogany planking on oak frames and deadwood, lead structural keel, oak and stainless steel floor timbers, bronze strapping, copper-rivet and bronze-screw fastened.
Bronze centerboard in wooden trunk. No interior ballast.
Canvas-covered deck with varnished mahogany trim. White hull with blue boot top, red bottom, and buff deck.
Sails and Rigging
Masthead yawl rig with keel-stepped hollow varnished Sitka spruce spars, Boom aluminum, and stainless steel running rigging (mast height approx. 54' from waterline) to bronze Merriman turnbuckles and swaged terminals, stainless steel halyards, sheets, Harken jib roller/furling system , Main full batten, slab reefing, spinnaker pole with complete gear and hardware, genoa tracks, and snatch blocks. Merriman halyard winches and Barient 2-speed bronze sheet winch. Sail Inventory: Manchester Sails: 155% genoa & main, 2 sets of reef points (2000), #2 jib, mizzen sail, spinnaker, tall boy, mizzen staysail.; and mizzen staysail. Storm trysail and storm jib.
Sleeps 6. Full headroom Rode locker forward with a V-berth forward cabin next aft The head with shower is next aft, hanging locker opposite, followed by the main cabin with settee berths port and starboard, stowage outboard, gimbaled drop-leaf dining table on centerboard trunk, and heating stove on forward bulkhead to port (Heritage by Luke) . The galley is aft with a five-burner alcohol stove/oven.varnished mahogany and black walnut trim, and a raw teak and holly cabin cabin sole. As it typical with Neuman-built boats, the joiner work has been done to a very high standard. Ventilation is provided by the forward hatch, companionway hatch, center butterfly hatch, 8 opening ports (with screens), and 3 dorade box vents.
HUSSAR has a 46-hp 4-cyl. fresh-water-cooled lever-controlled Westerbeke diesel engine (W-46) from 1987. The engine is reported to be in good condition with an estimated 2400 engine hours. 17D x 12 RH bronze, 3 blade propeller on 1 1/8" stainless steel shaft. Cruising speed estimated at 6-7 knots.
