"Otteau” is a very nice example of this classis Maurice Griffiths design. A very solid and seaworthy triple keel (long centre keel and twin bilge plates) yacht, capable of exploring the swatchways and creeks and taking the ground when required. “Otteau” performs well, in part due to the extended keel arrangements (3’3” draft). She benefitted from a major refit in 2000/1 which included a new Yanmar engine and has been carefully maintained and improved since. Her present owner purchased in 2011 and a survey report was carried out at the time. Her owner has since fitted 3 batteries, strengthened the safety lines, fitted a swingoing mooring mate on the bowsprit and renewed the keel bolts. She is covered and wintered ashore every year.
