Chris Craft Constellation

This DIESEL POWERED Chris Craft Constellation is a true american classic. The yacht was ordered new for the US Coast Guard Commandant in New York. In 1976 she was moved San Francisco Bay. The Coast Guard special ordered this yacht with the diesel engines which is a rare feature, most all were gasoline powered. Anyone who is considering restoring a classic Chris Craft Constellation should look seriously at DELENA. She is well worth it. There are others out there but very few with TWIN DIESEL ENGINES. The Detroit Diesel 6V53N engines start right up and run great. They are very fuel efficient and they have lots of life left in them. There is an 8KW Onan Generator that provides ample power away from the dock. The yacht has been hauled regularly and it is in very good shape overall. DELENA is double planked Phillipine mahagony with batten seams over sawed and steamed bent oak frames. It is a hard chine modified deep vee hull.

The yacht has a large aft master stateroom with private head, hanging lockers, drawers and a vanity with mirror. The salon has room for a couch and easy chairs plus a coffee table. The galley is spacious with everything you need plus a large refrigerator/freezer. There is a dinette opposite the galley which converts to a double bed. Forward is the guest stateroom with twin berths and a head in the forepeak. On deck there is a large enclosed aft deck for lounging and enjoying the water views.

The April, 2009 survey states; " This vessel is a classic Chris Craft Motor Yacht. She is in very original condition, appears to have been well maintained. She is a very rare diesel powered 46 and should be considered to be above average of comparable vessels value" The surveyor gave her a current value of $99,000. and a replacement value of $500,000.
