La Bimba was designed by Watson and built in 1962 by Ailsa shipbuilding in Troon, Scotland, to Lloyds 100 A1, to cruise the oceans. She was named Themara and then Morning Watch and later Atlantis of the Seven Seas, under which name she circumnavigated the world in 1988. She was bought as Fair Lady, under Swedish flag since 1996, and has been doing charter in the North Sea. At present she has been renamed to La Bimba by its current Italian owner and changed to Italian flag (D) and is dry docked in Genova undergoing a “total refit “.
