Concordia Yacht Sales is offering 1960, 41' Concordia yawl hull #72 Tecumseh (formerly Paramour & originally Arachne). She is built on an oak keel, with oak frames and African mahogany planking. Exterior trim is varnished mahogany in very good condition. Fastenings silcon bronze. Ballast keel secured by galvanized bolts replaced in 1992. Decks are laid teak with canvassed coach roof. The structure of Tecumseh was rebuilt extensively between 1992 & 2001 including 54 new planks in 1999. She's had a long mast step installed (1996) with stainless steel tie rod system. Iron floors replaced with welded #316 stainless. The interior was completely repainted & revarnished in 2008 and is stunning. She has the walk-through (or "closet") head layout which several 41s came with. Head to port, doors close the head in and open up the full width of the boat - including a hanging locker and drawers to starboard. Teak sole is varnished. Many other upgrades in 2008 including Yanmar 4JH4 (50 HP), electronics package, cushions, and canvas. She is currently stored indoors in Westbrook, CT and available for 2012 season. | ||
