Cruiser Racer Eight Meter designed and built by McGruers in 1959. Typical 8 meter lines with long elegant overhangs and a subtle sheer. Honduras mahogany hull all bronze screw fastened, lead keel and bronze keel bolts. New Volvo Penta diesel in 2008. 5 berths in a traditional interior of the period. Lots of work done in rcent years including a major refit in 2006. Professionally maintained in present ownership to a very high standard. A fast elegant yacht with great pedigree.

Designed and built by McGruers in 1959.
A fine example of the work from one of Scotland's greatest yards. Classic McGruer Eight Meter Cruiser Racer lines with elegant counter stern and the tell tale McGruers doghouse.
Honduras mahogany hull, teak deck, varnished mahogany coach-roof, tiller steering in self draining cock-pit. New Volvo engine in 2008.
10 years present ownership. Major refit in 2006 with extensive new bottom planking, new bronze floors, stainless steel tanks and much more.
Lightly used since refit. Professionally maintained. A very fine yacht for the money.
Honduras mahogany planking phosphor bronze screw fastened to laminated mahogany frames.
