This 8 Metre cruise racer from 1954 has been restored in 2002. Designed by Knud Reimers and built under the International 8-Metre rule the yacht is an example for a fast cruise racer. The hull is made out of wood, but carbon, epoxy and stainless steel has been used wherever these materials could provide a significant improvement in performance. Carbon masts and a wooden hull combines modern and classic.
