The Beautiful Classic Staysail Wooden Schooner built in 1951 came into the hands of a highly skilled local retired boat builder who always wanted a Schooner. Her refit then began and in 2010 Matanga was ready. Everything that needed to be replaced was including, frames, planking, deck, cabin, cockpit, spars, rigging, electronics, gas, sails and engine. She was surveyed July 2010, is 28'6" in length and 33' overall length. Viewing is highly recommended.
