"Tempest", designed by the renowned naval architect Phil Rhodes, has great pedigree. She has all the fabulous sailing qualities that are expected from one of his yacht designs. Afterall, his 12 meter class "Weatherly" won the 1962 Americas Cup! "Tempest," built in 1949 and has been in current ownership 4 years during which the boat has been transformed. She was painted inside and out, has new upholstery and canvas and updated electrical. Her Yanmar 2GM20 has less than 100 hours.
