A very popular S&S design from the post World War II era, WILD SWAN was completely rebuilt and has been extremely well maintained by her owners of 25 years.  These were very competitive boat in their day and I am sure she is still a threat on the Classic race course, but sitting aboard her last weekend, I couldn’t help notice how comfortable the cockpit was for sailing and socializing.  The deep seats with high combings at a comfortable angle were a nice change from the  shallow, deck level seats typical of many of the boats from this era.
