Owners are keen for an immediate sale and will consider a partial trade to downsize to a smaller sailboat. Yacht is located at our boatyard in Westerly, RI and is available for immediate inspection. Please call for details.
PILGRIM is an exceptional yacht in excellent condition. She has been lovingly cared for by her current owners who have brought her back to near new condition. From 1991 to 1996 she underwent an extensive professional refit including new frames, planking, decking, hatches and trim.
Most recently, the last major item of the refit was completed. The centerboard trunk was entirely replaced in winter of 2006/7 by Gannon & Benjamin in Martha’s Vineyard. To accomplish this, the rudder heel fittings and deadwood were removed. The ballast keel, trunk sides, bed logs and end posts were removed and replaced with angelique wood (copper lined). The top of centerboard trunk was replaced with a bronze weldment.
Complete restoration details are available in the full specs section of this listing. PILGRIM is meticulously maintained and highly recommended - a rare find.

PILGRIM is an exceptional yacht in excellent condition - she has been lovingly cared for by her current owners who have brought her back to near new condition over the course of their nine year ownership.
She was built in 1946 for Harvey Conover as REVONOC (note the resemblance to his last name). She was also know as NIPANTUCK and has compiled a very successful racing record, including two overall wins and three best of class wins in the Miami-Nassau Race series. Although successfully raced, this boat is designed to comfortably cruise the New England Coast and beyond - be prepared - she will turn heads in every harbor.
