Flush deck commercial fishing boat built by Pederson Ship Yard on Staten Island, NY. She was later converted to a Head Boat and entertained tourists in Long Island Sound until 1964 when Small Point Navigation Co, Inc moved her to Maine.                                           M/V YANKEE has been operated as a USCG Licensed Passenger Vessel every year since 1965. Her hail port is Hermit Island, Small Point Harbor, Phippsburg, Maine. 43.7366°N 69.849°W . 

Hermit Island is a private campground (1.5m by 0.5m) and M/V YANKEE carried Tourists on sight seeing tours, seal watches and fishing trips most every day during spring summer and fall.
