This is a 60' Benson. A pilothouse style tug/yacht built of wood by A.C. Benson Shipyard in Vancouver BC. LOA: 60' Beam: 16' 0" Draft: 8’6” Disp:  54 Gross Tons

Powered by a Detroit 8V71 235 hp Diesel engine with conventional gears and 1208 Engine Hours. 2 Generators (1 Kubota and 1 Northern Lights)

Description: This boat would make a suitable trawler type craft for use in the inside passage as well as offshore. She is carvel planked with Delta wings amidship, rounded forefoot with an oval double knuckle stern. The buttocks are reported to be flat with concave waterlines. The deck is 2 level with a 1 ft. rise at the aft cabin to the bow. The cabin house is accessed through three ported doors to starboard, two to port and a Dutch ported door aft. The main mastis stepped aft of the main cabin house and is fitted with a crows nest. The pilot house is accessed up two ladders to port and tarboard and also has stairs to aft deck. The cabin house deck wraps both sides of the pilot house with the fiddley for the engine exhaust immediately aft of the pilot house. In the main house a living area with a couch, TV and propane stove are found aft with galley and settee found forward. Down the galley ladder and forward is the master cabin with ensuite head. Aft of the master berth is the entrance to the engine room. Amidships and to starboard of the main living area, a stairwell descends down to 2 additional staterooms with 2 heads and showers found to port and starboard. A recent Survey is available by request.
