LAYOUT, BELOWDECKS: Head/sink/shower forward followed by a CREW cabin for 4; next aft are two DINETTES seating 10 people. Next aft is the commercially equipped, stainless steel DOWN GALLEY is U-shaped and to port with fridge and stairwell to abovedecks opposite. Next aft are two GUEST CABINS to port and starboard, each with ensuite head. Huge 18' x 20' STAND-UP ENGINEROOM follows.
Aft accommodations are accessed via an aft stairwell, and include the full-width MASTER CABIN, with ensuite head & tub, just aft of the engine room. Next aft on starboard is the stairwell to abovedecks; two more GUEST CABINS with ensuite heads are next aft - one on each side; followed by the LAZARETTE finally aft.
LAYOUT, ABOVEDECKS: WHEELHOUSE with starboard side deck access door and stairwell to belowdecks at starboard aft. DINING ROOM follows, with dumb waiter to the galley below at portside forward. Outside covered decks are next aft, with dry exhaust stack at center. Aft deckhouse is accessed via a starboard side forward door, and houses the ship's MAIN SALOON with entertainment center forward and bar centerline aft. To port of the bar is an aft deck access door; to starboard is the stairwell to aft belowdecks. Covered AFT DECK features built-in seating around the stern.

(1) Danforth 12# anchor on chocks at bow with 300' of 9/16" chain; misc dock and other lines. (2) Type I PFD's; life ring. A set of dinghy davits and chocks are mounted at port side of the expansive BOAT DECK; gypsy winch is mounted on centerline just aft of the dry stack for use with davit. BOAT DECK is accessed via a ladder and hatch just forward of the stack, with a forward seating area railed off. ALL NEW CUSTOM DECK CANVAS and cushions 8/98.
The 'QUEEN OF SHEBA' is fully equipped including foul weather gear for up to 14 charter guests.
Mechanical Equipment & Engine Details
IMPRESSIVE FULL STAND-UP ENGINE ROOM houses twin GM Cleveland 8-268A turbo diesels offering 1000-hp total at approx. 1200 rpm. Westinghouse elect. shift and throttles; also engine telegraphs to engine room; dry stack exhaust; fuel shut off valves at tanks/crossovers; dual Racor fuel filters; fresh water cooling; engine warning devices include water temp; oil supply is via dry sump - oil is circulated and held in two 50-gallon tanks.
FUEL is carried in (3) Monel main tanks of 1500 gallons apiece plus (2) Monel day tanks of 30 gallons each. WATER is in steel tanks; (2) 15-gallon hot water heaters. HOLDING tankage is via (1) 95 gallon and (2) 50 gallon tanks (NEW in 1995, including piping)
SHAFTS are 3" stainless steel; electrolysis protection zincs; forced air engine room ventilation; 110vAC bilge blower-dual squirrel cage and natural draft; (4) bilge pumps 12vDC and 120vAC located forward, center and aft bilges. NOTE: NEW PROPS AND SHAFTS 6/99.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT includes (12) dry chemical portable fire extinguishers; (3) flares; a first aid kit; and (4) safety hatches. CO2 fire extinguisher system in engineroom; (20) new PFD's.
Keel was laid in 1942 with completion in 1944 and reconstruction in 1947. Hull design is semi displacement, soft chine and transom stern. Hull material is Douglas fir approximately 1-3/4" thick. Framing is of 4" x 4" oak on 12" centers and bronze fastened - built to U.S. military WWII specifications.

Originally built for the U.S. Army in '43. She was originally used for air sea rescue and patrols. She was converted to a pleasure craft and repowered in 1947. Then the 'QUEEN OF SHEBA' had the same owner for 50 years! A unique opportunity; full set of construction pictures and plans are on file with the local museum! Last haulout was June of 2006. Port engine top-end rebuilt 1990 at a cost of $30K; starboard engine rebuilt 10/98. New carpet throughout in January 1998. Decks all redone and hull paint in 2008; over $100K spent in refit, refurbishing and painting 6/99.
