This beautiful Northwest legend has been updated and improved over the past 12 years by the present owner. She features five entrances to the pilothouse and salon. Port and starboard doors open to the forward salon area. Custom teak sliding doors with beveled glass open to aft cockpit. Port and starboard doors open to the pilothouse.
The huge salon features teak flooring, teak paneling and a wood burning stove. The salon furniture and accommodations are warm and inviting.
Laredo is powered by a Cat D-343 diesel with complete rebuild. Engine uses a compressed air system to start. Hydraulics power anchor windlass, mast/boom winch and bilge pumps. A separate Power Take Off (PTO) from the Kabota genset backs up the main hydraulic system. Another hydraulic pump from the main engine powers the steering system. Engine is keel cooled with a dry stack.
Built in 1941 at Stanley Park Shipyard in Vancouver. Hull and underbody refastened in 2015 and bottom was recaulked within the last few years. The hull is planked with 2 1/4" clear Douglas Fir on 4" x 4" Oak and 12" centers. Top of pilothouse recently refinished. Complete engine rebuild in 2010. Gig Harbor moorage may be transferable.

A curved stairway leads to four staterooms below and a head with separate stall shower. Two of the staterooms are doubles with a single inboard bunk. The master contains a queen-size berth. The fourth state room is an over/under bunk room. All feature ample storage for linens and personal items.
A diesel furnace heats all living spaces with hot-water radiators.
